Yeet the Rich
If a billionaire donates money to a good cause, does that make them a good person? Hosts Emily Walsh and Daniel Moss are two married millennials who learned about financial crises by living through them, and now they’re diving into the wild world of the uber rich. They discuss financial crimes, the breakdown of the American dream, and why funding a museum doesn’t necessarily make you a good person. They get into the old timey rich, like the Rockafeller family, and current events, like why you might not want to shop at Walmart. Each week they’ll dive into a new wealthy person, give you the rundown on their lives, whatever “good things” they’ve done in the past, and why they might be a bummer.

Leopold and Loeb Part One- Mansplaining Birds
This week we are our toes back in the true crime pond with the wild story of Leopold and Loeb. These two young men were both insanely wealthy and very smart. Both skipped a few grades in school and must have missed the classes where they learned to empathize with the people around them.
Nathan Leopold was obsessed with the concept of superiority and believed that because he was smart and rich he could do no wrong. And Richard Loeb's dream was to commit the perfect crime. But spoiler alert their attempt was far from perfect and they were caught almost immediately.
This episode we talk about their childhood and the build up to the murder of a 14 year old child named Bobby Franks. Then we discuss how their "Perfect Plan" crumbled and led to their arrest.
